| 功能尺寸是为满足产品设计要求、工艺设计要求、制造过程控制要求等各种产品目标或过程目标而制定的一组相同功〖JP+1〗能的测点之间的相对位置尺寸要求。在设计阶段提出功能尺寸要求，明确产品设计以及工艺设计目标，驱动产品以及工艺设计；同时在监控过程中简化数据分析，更准确、更快速、更直观地分析出质量缺陷的根本原因，从而明确改进方向和确定改进方案。 |

| Functional dimensions are relative position requirements of a group of the same functional measuring points which are introduced to meet the requirements of product design, process design, manufacturing control and other product or process objectives. The application of functional dimensions definitely proposed the purpose of product and process design in the design procedure. Also data analysis in the monitoring process was simplified by which the root causes of quality defects could be found more accurately and the improvement plan could be determined. |
