This article studies the EGR system control used by a throttle valve and a lift valve on a naturally aspirated hybrid gasoline engine equipped with a 1.5 L Atkinson cycle and an exhaust gas recirculation system, and analyze its effects for the engine.The results show that the linearity of the throttle valve in terms of flow rate and opening degree is superior to that of the lift valve, but the air tightness is inferior to that of the lift valve, which affects the combustion stability of the engine under low load conditions. |
